catching up on Project Life!

Over the course of the past few weeks I’ve been frantically trying to fill in the gaps of my Project Life album. I feel like I’ve made decent progress (considering) and I have high hopes that I’ll have the album 100% complete before 2013…

Even if that means working into the wee hours of the night as I’ve done on multiple occasions recently- last night in particular when I got home around 11pm from a night out with friends and then stayed up until 3am “Project Lifing.”

It was… The Best.

I’ve had this week from FEBRUARY 1/3 done since… well, February. I finally finished it. It was before my Instagram days and the photos taken with my then go-to photo app- Retro Camera, are terrible quality. I think that is why I was so down on the spread for so long.

I had considered combining this week in August with the week prior because, as you can see, I am lacking in photos. Especially since the photos of Lumbergh are essentially the same and the two photos of Casey are so similar as well. I made it work by using a really big title on the right side of the page and also by extending our mini golf scorecard across both pages. Whew.

I’ve skipped over the month I was in Europe as I’ll need to set aside some serious time to complete those weeks so I jumped to the end of September with this spread.

Sigh. I love this spread above. I don’t know why; maybe it’s because I feel it’s a little toned down a bit (lol!) I used a lot of Crate Paper here- especially the 6×6 paper pads. The 6×6 pads are my new favorite product to use for Project Life. In the past I NEVER bought these pads from any company but since joining the CP design team I’ve received my fair share of these and they are genius! Why haven’t I used them sooner? The smaller scale is perfect! LOVE LOVE!

Truth: I’m not exactly done with the spread above. I still have to add an insert as I have a ton more photos from this week that I want to share (visiting with my best friend and her baby + a handful of beautiful fall photos), but since I had good natural light today I decided to add this one in with the others.

Even more Crate Paper on this spread… plus, have you noticed the use of my colored paper clips? I bought 3 packs at Target in varying colors and really can’t get enough!

Thanks for stopping by!
